Which cities and sights are around Domaine de la Velle? We obviously can not put everything on the site, but you will find below a small selection of the possibilities.

In Cazals, the little town which is 3 km away, you will find two bakeries, a supermarket, a butcher, a bank with ATM, a post office and two nice restaurants. On Sunday there is a weekly market with delicious local produce, where you can sit in the shade of the trees for a drink or a snack. Cazals also has a lake of 2.7 hectares, where you can swim and fish. We highly recommend the flower market in May.

There are other beautiful places in the neigbourhood to visit such as Gourdon (23 km), Villefranche du Perigord (16 km) with beautiful squares, narrow streets and nice restaurants. Most of them have a weekly market and you will find numerous museums.

Ossip ZadkineOssip Zadkine We would like to draw your attention to the Zadkine museum with its beautiful sculptures. The museum is located in Les Arques at less than 5 km from the site. You might like to combine the visit with a delicious lunch at the restaurant "La Recreation", which you will not regret we can assure you!

38 km southeast of Domaine de la Velle is the beautiful town of Cahors. Here you can stroll through the medieval parts of the town or enjoy shopping in the pedestrian area with its picturesque streets. Twice a week you can visit the market and there are numerous restaurants to enjoy the culinary qualities of the French and international cuisine.

the Dordogne with all its tourist potential can be reached within half an hour by car. The famous places Sarlat (40 km), Domme (30 km) and Rocamadour (50 km) are very much worth a visit.
